This week, Double Edged Double Bill is discussing two bizarre films from Japan. First is Thomas' good pick Why Don't You Play In Hell, which combines renegade filmmaking & yakuza ultraviolence to hilarious effect! Then, Adam's bad pick of Vampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl where ultraviolence is the least offensive thing on this film's mind. Together, our heroes paint a house gore red, reveal a tragic origin story involving Meow Mix and pick the films for next week's episode on the late Rutger Hauer. So grab your Japanese to English dictionary and interpret the meaning as you listen in!
