Tuesday Mar 08, 2022
Tuesday Mar 08, 2022
Every week, Adam and Thomas choose two films from two good and two bad choices to be the subject of the following week's episode. However, with each new Double Edge Double Bill, more alt choices get tossed to the side. So, every year two unchosen films get a shot at redemption! First, Ip Man - Adam's alt good choice from our first martial arts films episode - gets a chance to show their fighting prowess. Then, Gotti - Thomas' alt bad choice from our John Travolta episode - proves that mob movies don't always go the way of Goodfellas! Together our heroes answer the crucial questions. What separates Donnie Yen from other martial arts titans? Can you trust a troll behind a keyboard? Which two films will they choose for next week's very special episode? Well, bite down on your fist and prepare for a fight to find out!

Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Disaster films aren't as common anymore. Shocker that a modern world plagued by daily chaos wouldn't flock to disasters for their escapist entertainment. Still, Adam and Thomas are running straight into the disaster genre in anticipation of Roland Emmerich's Moonfall! First, Emmerich's partner in crime Dean Devlin unleashes various catastrophic weather events & regretful cast members in Geostorm! Then, a giant monster causes massive metropolitan destruction from a found footage POV in Cloverfield! Together, our heroes answer all the crucial questions. What is the appeal of Gerard Butler? Will gas station pump TVs be the new cinematic format? Which films will they cover on next week's episode about Regina King? Well, grab your DV cams and dodge those frozen seagulls so you can tune in to find out!

Well, Adam and Thomas will be the judge of that as they give January releases the Double Edged Double Bill treatment. First, Liam Neeson and a group of plane crash survivors try to make it past hungry wolves and the elements in The Grey! Then, Peter Farrelly tricks a bunch of acclaimed actors into doing horribly unfunny sketches for Movie 43! Together, our duo answers all the crucial questions. Does Liam Neeson love eCards? Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
Tuesday Jan 04, 2022
William Shakespeare is one of the most celebrated writers in history. However, Adam and Thomas are focusing in on two very different Shakespeare film adaptations in honor of Joel Coen's The Tragedy of MacBeth. First, Jet Li flies through a classic Shakespeare tale via wire fu in Romeo Must Die! Then, Akira Kurosawa adapts Shakespeare's MacBeth to feudal Japan in Throne of Blood! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. What is the title of the unreleased Shakespeare sequel? Who is the classic Nickelodeon game show host that should've popped up in Romeo Must Die? Which film will they choose for next week's episode on Wes Craven? Well, kick your way through the samurai ghosts of your past to find out!
